My journey to realism began after enrolling in the classical realism course “Classical Realism Atelier” (owned by the Vilnius Academy of Arts). Loneliness and ballet are the two themes that inspire me the most. I think a person who has a moment of loneliness has a moment of truth that is just beautiful and pure. For me, ballet is the highest form of aesthetics and beauty. In the movements of the dancers, I think there is a lot of sense of freedom, and the freedom of the artist is as important as the air. I see the human body as a tool through which the soul can express itself and be able to express it on canvas is simply miraculous.
