Edgar Degas

Edgar Degas works can be described as constant search for the balance and movement. Degas exclusive art searches began in the early  impressionist era. But for Edgar impressionism was not enough - as a great sculptor, in his painting he was looking for spontaneity, object deformation and stun effect. Degas continue his experiments to convey movement, body tension, trying to avoid difficulties. Therefore, a large part of his work is dedicated to dance theme. He studied ballet dancers, analyzed their postures, movements and the dynamics which later he transferred on his canvases. Anthropological accuracy and misanthropic humor accompanies in all of Edgar Degas paintings.
