Daiva Staskeviciene was born in 13 June 1968 in Vilnius.  Starting 1993 to 1995  she studied at Justinas Vienožinskis art school. In 1995 She has entered Vilnius Academy of Arts to study scenography, however after a year and a half She had been attracted by graphic arts specialty. She studied graphic arts leaded by professor Leonas Lagauskas. In year 2000 she had gained bachelors degree in arts and entered Master studies in Vilnius Academy of Arts placard specialty, leaded by professor Juozas Galkus. The participants of international conference “WoMen and Democracy, Reykjavik-Vilnius” and NATO congress, which were held on 2001-2002-2005, received my works of print, with old town of Vilnius. 2002 She had gained Master degree in arts. Since 2002 she is member of "Lithuanian Artists Association’. Now Daiva work in the following fields:  print (etching), miniature, paintng, posters, book illustrations.

Private galleries and collectors in Russia, USA, Canada, Great Britain, Germany and others countries have acquired artists' works. Paintings are made in ancient galzing technique, used by Leonardo Da Vinci.
